Rumor has it that the new mother of the octuplets purposely tried to have multiple births to get fame and fortune; getting the idea from John and Kate plus eight. Which is why no pictures has been released of the babies: she’s holding out for the highest bidder. If she did get a show of her own, would you watch it?
She is now asking for $2 million to do an exclusive interview….

No, I cant even imagine why a Dr would assist in this maddness. Im sorry I do not understand haveing alot of kids all under 8 and then having fertility treatments, I really do not have much respect for this person at all. Alot of multiple births have problems ranging from mild to severe, I am really disappointed, to me, this person is ill mentally for doing this. I about fell off my chair when they said she was single. I do not see a loving caring smart person here. If that is true, that she wanted to have a reality show and she did this, I really really think that the state should investigate if she is actually competent enough to be raising any of her kids.

Nope. John and Kate plus 8 was a cute UNIQUE idea. I don’t necessarily agree with selling your kids into fame and fortune but I also respect their ingenuity at finding a way to support their unexpected multiple births. We should not spend a good deal of time making these types of things fantastical for people that are obviously oblivious to the over population issue.

No, I would not watch it. Carrying 8 children is so bad for one’s health and especially bad for the children. I cannot see how someone can rationally think that this would be a good idea. They said they wanted to stay anonymous, but I don’t think they’ll be able to do that, since a “friend” has come out talking about them and their other children.

I would not watch the show. I would though watch the show where the doctor who did this get caught. Or watch the kids get taken away as the mother is clearly irresponsible or mentally ill for having so many kids without the means to raise them (she is bankrupt).
Nobody should be helping this woman, or her grandfather, to do so would be rewarding irresponsible and unethical behaviour, if it’s not already illegal for housing 14 kids in a 3 bedroom house.
NO. I hope her children are given to families who can support them. As sad a state as it is, I think that would be best for the kids. This whole news item makes me feel sick.

The reason for this is that I absolutely despise this woman for what she did, but I’d really like to hear HER side of the story!

This woman was irresponsible, and she shouldn’t be rewarded for her irresponsibility. A single woman unable to support herself having 14 children? (While living with the grandma, who just filed bankruptcy this past year?)
Its disgusting. She should not receive one dime of public money, nor should she get attention/TV contracts/donations.
I’m so troubled by this story that I will stop doing business with any company that donates merchandise or money to this family.
She got herself into this mess – if she can’t support them, she should adopt the children out to loving families who can take care of them.
