Why does Kate Gosselin want to be on TV?

My friend is wondering why Kate Gosselin always wants her job to related to television. I heard that Jon&Kate Plus 8 is canceled. 
And now I’m hearing that Kate got turned down for a talk show. Why can’t Kate get a real job? We are not judging her! We are just wondering why television is the only answer for her!! lol

You can make a lot of money doing tv work, which may be one reason. But I also think she got sucked into the whole fame thing, especially since she now has her little following who sympathizes with her and thinks she’s a wonderful person (a lot of celebrities are like that, to be fair). I really don’t care for her, after spending over 6 months airing her and Jon’s dirty laundry and acting really classless to be honest. Maybe she can pull a Monica Lewinsky and just fall off the face of the earth (she tried to cash in on her fame too, don’t forget).
well its hard 4 kate 2 go out in public without getting photographed soooo not many places with hire her! and she would make a lot more green on tv lol lol
