Why are Jon and Kate + 8 in laws being paid to bash them?

Unlike some players in the Jon & Kate inner circle, Kate GosselinKevin Kreider, and sister-in-law Jodie want the media to pony up for their insider secrets. Yesterday, the Aunt and Uncle of the eight Gosselin spawn were on the Early Show, where they scolded Jon and Kate for continuing the show and for putting money over the well being of their kids.
For that 15 minutes of fame, it is speculated that they were paid $30,000 and they are looking for other media outlets who would do the same.
Wow. We smell a hypocrite or two.
They should really be ashamed of themselves. This is their family they are exploiting. Family doesn’t do that to one another, no matter what the price tag.

NObody gets paid to show up on those early news shows. I don’t believe that at all. I actually think that they are probably the only ones with balls to come forth and say what it maybe the truth.
Scandal sells! It’s all about what sells magazines (or TV shows). That’s why they’re being offered money to trash their relatives. It happens all the time. Tabloids are a dirty business, people are ignorant and selfish… and everyone loves money… so it’s easy to get people to talk crap about their loved ones… for a price.
Ehh. I don’t really see how the show harms the kids, to be honest. I also don’t see why they got paid to spill their family’s secrets..It makes no sense to me. Nobody in that family has any class, it seems.
Yeah I feel like Jodi and Kevin were just mad that Kate kept them from getting on the gravy train and they feel this is their chance to lash out at her and get a piece of the pie.
I do believe they have convinced themselves they are doing it for the kids, but I really don’t think that is ultimately the reason they are doing it. I mean, if they are getting paid to talk bad about jon and kate, aren’t they exploiting the kids in a round about way?
Not to mention that one day the kids will hear what their aunt and uncle said about their parents (since it is now a public record) and I guarantee it won’t go over very well no matter if it was true or not.
They got paid and will probably dig even deeper for another dollar. They are just bitter they got kicked off the show by Kate. And now they are complaining that Jon and Kate are exploiting the children when they were on the show themselves doing the same and tried to get a show with the kids themselves? Hypocrites. They are liars too. Kevin claimed that Kate came to him about 6 months back and said her marriage was over. Did he forget that Jon and Kate haven’t been speaking to them for the past 3 years? If they care so much for the children they would have never gone public with their “concern.” It’s a big bandwagon with the Gosselins right now and Aunt and Uncle jumped right on. TLC is eating it right up too. Cha ching.
ugh Perez Hilton is a sleaze speaking of hypocrites.
Jodi got canned when she spoke up on the filming conditions for the kids in the home and why when TLC was going to give her a per-dium for her time Kate said no.
Anyone who confronts Kate get cut from her life.{Family-Friends etc etc}. what a trait to teach ones children.
Many who give interviews on GMA.. The Early show other morning shows do not get paid, tho they get their plane tickets paid for and a hotel room. Now Extra and other scandal shows may pay and its measly.. but its not $30.000 for a D list celeb. Now maybe for some crap about the president they would if true but the Gosselins? I’m laughing .
Paul Peterson a former child star has spoken out against Jon & Kate also and he doesn’t get paid to do it and I’m glad he does. Someone has to speak up for the emotional welfare of the kids as their parents are too busy thinking about themselves.
I could not agree more.what kind of aunt and uncle get paid to bash the family and go looking for places to tell their tales.no wonder jon and kate are having trouble who wouldn’t with in laws like that
