Well lawyers and tlc managers and all that are saying they should be payed per episode just like their parents. But honestly, they are putting that money in their college funds. And the labor laws are saying that they should be taped less time then they are actually doing. But what else is going on that no one pays attention to is that they only film a certain number of days a week. So its not like they are being filmed every single day. And i think the reason the show is breaking the law is because the certain contract that Jon and Kate have set up. Its really not fair that they use their kids to get money like that. Its just not right. They(Jon and Kate) are doing everything best for their kids but yet they love the money and they like the attention a little too much.

I can almost guarantee that nothing will come out of the Labor investigation. This is TLC’s most popular show and I would bet my bottom dollar that they have no less than five people making sure the whole thing is nice a legal. This was my little ones favorite show, she just loved the kids and watching them. She was a reluctant potty trainer before seeing the kids potty train, and then she just had to do it like them. But she won’t watch these new ones, there is to much Jon and Kate and not enough of the 8. She only wants to watch the old ones, and frankly so do I. They were never well suited for each other, anyone who has watched the show for any amount of time knows this. But now it’s the focus, which is sad and it gets old fast.
I agree with Caitlin. She’s right. I also think since things are souring with their marriage, that Jon wants out of the show. If he’s going to be sulking and miserable and she’s going to be bi-atching all the time then I have no interest in watching episodes. I caught myself looking at Jon and Kate…(looking for crossed eyed looks at each other) rather than watching the children like I used to. Also, I heard on the radio this morning that Jon is apt. shopping and the film crew is going with him to make sure his new apt. is “camera friendly”. I truly feel terrible for those beautiful children.
