What Is Jon Gosselin’s Motive?

Does anyone think that Jon has “seen the light” and wants to reconcile with Kate? Not just as a parent, but as a husband?
There are a lot of superficial reasons I can think of to make him want to delay the divorce, but could he possibly want his family and his old life back?

I can’t imagine that he is doing it because he genuinely cares about his family being in the spot light considering he never had an issue with it the whole time the show was taping and they were together.
My suspicion is that he is doing it to worm his way back into the public’s view because Kate always gets the publicity.

because i remember reading a long time ago that kate was the one who said the show must go on!!!
and i think jon wants the show to stop because it is ruining his life so basically once your on tv you become a celebrity and the whole knows your personal life
i know that i read yesterday on yahoo news that tlc does not have proper rights or something to film the kids because they are too young to know what really goes on and something like that
either way there is a sign on the house where the kids live saying that tlc people are not allowed…dont know for how long but for now
so basically to answer your question he wants to be with the kids not kate, and rumor has it that they returned the dogs because kate doesnt want to care for them and jon doesnt have the time to
I think Jon is just trying to mess things up for Kate and for his kids, because he’s not a part of it anymore. Let’s face it, Kate is the parent who is actually with her kids and who is taking care of them and living with them. Jon is out in the world carrying on with skanky girls and hanging out in Las Vegas. Kate was trying to continue on with life without Jon since he obviously didn’t want to be there with her and the kids anymore. When he saw her moving on, he decided to pretend he cares about the kids. Hey, those kids will have tons of money and as a result, tons of opportunities when they get older because of their TV show. And Jon wants to take that away from them out of spite? He’s a pathetic little man.
I think Jon is a control freak and when he wasn’t in the spot light and TLC wanted to remove his name from the show he went loco.
I don’t think he wants Kate back and I feel his motive is money honey, and that is all it is and keeping his mug on TV.
Since TLC messed that up, he’s throwing a big fit is all.
I think Jon is just ticked off he won’t be on the show anymore. Personally I like the newer ones with just Kate and the children. I don’t find them boring at all and it’s interesting to watch how she handles being a divorced mom. But you know if the kids really are tired of being on camera then it’s time to take them off.
don’t be fooled here. i don’t think that jon has any interest in being married to kate…but he was just mad that he was being phased out of the show.
after all, he never had an issue w/ his kids being filmed for that show until they announced that the show’s format was being changed. he should have been happy. several times, he complained about being in the spotlight. well, dude, now’s your chance to get out of it. what’s the problem?
You cannot judge a man unless you have walked a mile in his shoes. Maybe he has seen the light and wants his children out of the spotlight. Whatever his reason, they need to cancel this train wreck and move on. Who wants to see show with just Kate. Boring!
after all what he has done i dont think he truly wants his family back, he is probuly doing it just to getmore money from tlc, i dont think he cares about his family anymore!!!!!
Greed. He was mad he got cut out and has lost his free ride. He’s an ***. I’m hoping he and the show goes away. Kate can make money writing a book and with speaking engagements.
