I’m curious to know what other people think.
It’s not a surprise. Regardless of what anyone thinks of Jon’s behavior or Kate’s controlling personality, their marriage had become a business. The business being the show. The sad part is the kids. They’ve had their childhood exploited by being on TV. It’s almost worse than a Hollywood kid syndrome, because this isn’t make believe and acting. 30 years from now people will still be able to see the childhood they had no say in making public. If they had wanted to work out their marriage, they would have done it without the show.
I personally think that if she had treated Jon better that he might of tried to work this out. Not saying that Jon is perfect and never did anything wrong, because he also had his faults in this too. It takes two in a marriage it’s not all on one. But who on this earth could live with a spouse who talks to their husband or wife the way Kate did to Jon. That’s abuse and it didn’t stop!
My biggest thing out of all of this mess with them, if those 8 innocent children. Their the ones that gets hurt out of all of this. Their the ones that will see this on TV in a few years and hear their mom belittle their father over and over and over again. Their the ones that will see how their mother treated their father like dirty, crap on national TV and in front of them also. Their the ones who are getting hurt through all of them mess!
That’s the sad part, the kids! As for Jon and Kate I couldn’t really care less, but the children I’m concern!
It’s an ify subject, and to me is a little selfish. I mean, if the tv show destroyed their lives like people say, why don’t they get rid of the show and try to work something out without tv cameras following right behind them!!! You know what I mean? And I really disliked Jon’s comments about how he’s excited and only 32 and has the rest of his life in front of him. He has eight kids! I think when you decide to have that many, you need to put all your time into loving them, and you can’t complain because there is no time to go out and have a drink. Oh and when you become famous, of course people are gonna be following you around and photographing every little thing you do, its sort of part of the package, you know. I think if they left the show, it might have saved their family.
Seen it comin a mile a way, movin on. Not watching the show any more as it is just exploiting the kids. Haven’t these parents heard of child star syndrome, they all grow up to live crappy drug addicted lives, and those are the lucky ones. Danny Bonaduche hello??!!!
Divorce is always a sad thing especially for the kids. He has a gf and I didn’t know that until today.Hopefully they will work things out and be a family.
At this point I just feel bad for the kids. Divorce can be hard enough in the best of circumstances. Here their are 8 kids and rumors about their parents are being broadcasted all over tabloids.
Another large group of children who have a dad who would rather party and sleep around than be a good dad and husband.
I have a suspicion that this is just an act so they can build up to an episode where they get back together.
