Isn’t Kate supposedly a stay at home mom? Where does she keep going on these out of town trips all the time when she leaves John to raise the kids and put the bread on the table? I have been trying to research where and why she always leaves town, but have found no answer.

I am totally confused on this – Is anyone else out there as “in the dark” as to exactly WHY this woman Kate Gosselin is on TV constantly, why the media & broadcast companies are trying to make a star out of her, and just WHY are we supposed to be fascinated by every mudane idiotic boring worthless aspect of her life ?? I just saw her on the Today show this morning – there must be no news in the world because they wasted about an hour of total air time on her mindless twit-headed interview. OK, so she is a mother from PA, she has what is it, EIGHT kids with her ex husband, some equally uneducated, no-talent, asian guy that never grew up yet, she had a reality show (god only know Why!) that was canned after the numnut husband left her to blow some of the money they had been paid for the reality show. So again, I just DO NOT get it folks – I mean, the average employee at the GE light bulb factory probably has a more interesting life than these losers do – so WHY in the heck is she being made into some kind of celebrity, and WHO are the morons that follow her & watch her, thus MAKING her a celebrity ??!!! Are some people’s lives so pathetic that they have nothing better to do than be “Kate Gosselin” fanatics & follow her every move on Twitter ?? What the hell is this country coming too. This is SAD. Does anyone agree there is no reason on god’s green earth for her or her stupid ex-husband to be “celebrities”. Just ridiculous…..

Good points thx Lola. I forgot some of those things, like the expensive home, and I had read where each time she gets extensions done in her hair (which is all the time now) it costs between 10 and 20 thousand dollars! Ridiculous. Now she is going to co-host Entertainment Tonight? But she is not seeking fame she claims. Also, she constantly takes more & more ‘gigs’ in CA, yet has left her 8 precious children home alone in PA. Nice mothering. I saw on the news last night that she claims also that there is no way she can live on the money she has now, which includes over 22k a month in alimony alone! That is more than a quarter million dollars a year (>5k)! How many people in the USA make that much? And I am not even adding in her money from her work on TV, interviews, endorsements, etc etc. She is certainly just a greedy fame-monger. And a terrible mother. To use this ’star chasing’ crap she’s doing in LA now as an excuse for being away from her kids constantly, its shameful

Kate is an opportunist. She will sell herself and her kids to the highest bidder. The people who are so enamored with her are that way because she is a single mom with 8 kids. They fail to realize that she is mean, evil, vindictive and she wants to live the life of a famous celebrity and she has successfully branded herself and has become a millionaire doing it. There are morons out there who will worship almost anyone – Kate Gosselin, Sarah Palin, Glen Beck, Osama bin Laden, etc. They are incapable of evaluating real intellect, talent and contribution to humanity and our society. So sorry for those people.

I have used most of the names from jon and kate, but i really like those names, and they have became more popular now, so i wouldn’t feel ashamed or embarrased to call my child one of those names…like Collin. Also most importantly, my child wont feel ashamed. Also Jon and Kate are a inspiration to me, they are really great people, and are raising their kids really well, considering the postion that they are all in. One of my goals in life is to be just as good at parenting than Jon and Kate Gosselin.

Recently, I have been reading up on the show, Jon and Kate plus 8. Then I have seen many hate blogs for the show and people insisting that that the children are overworked and treated unfairly. I also came across Aunt Jodi’s sister’s blog. It was stating that Kate doesn’t want Jodi to be part of the show.. because she doesn’t want them to get paid. Apparently Kate wants all the money to herself… and Jon is just going along with it. The blog also said.. Kate is making Jodi look ignorant.. Such as the Bubble-Gum Episode. Wear Kate found gum on one of her kids socks,and his blanket. When Kate Screamed right in his face, “NO WAY,WHO GAVE YOU GUM?” Then Kate screamed and said your blanket is going in the garbage. because she didn’t want to deal with ’stain removal duty” I have also read that Kate doesn’t even do half of the things she says she does. She as Nannies,Personal Chefs, and has Jon do things she finds boring to do.. such as cleaning, playing with the children, giving baths, and putting them to bed. I do not know about you but I feel that Kate defiantly needs to turn it down at least 4 notches because the kids don’t deserve to be treated this way and neither does, Jon nor Jodi. I Still Love the show but I’m just making a point. Feel free to answer this question!!
