Question by Lou: The Jon and Kate plus 8 show is going to show both of them going on dates. Isn’t that a bit tacky?
It seems like this show is out of control and these poor kids are really getting a raw deal because of idiot parents, doesn’t it? Jon and Kate will basically take turns babysitting them at the “family house” with cameras rolling, while the other one is off dating, traveling, shopping, whatever. WTF? Your opinion please…

Yeah, I think the whole thing is really retarded. I can’t believe they both agreed to still do the show. I also can’t believe that Jon is hangin’ out with that French dude and Lindsay Lohan’s father in the hamptons. Like, who the hell is HE all of a sudden that he gets invited to do these things in the first place? To me, he looks like a textbook case of a mid-life crisis. He’s datin’ a 22 year old or some $hit?? What the hell’s up with THAT??! Personally, I think that chick is with him for all of the media attention, and any financial gain she can achieve through him. She met him while she was visiting her parents’ home and Jon was staying there to grieve the loss of his marriage (lol, yeah right!). Her father is the surgeon who performed Kate’s tummy tuck. Sounds really weird if you ask me. Jon seems to be almost never around his kids, and he rented an apartment in New York City, some 130 miles or so from Kate and the children.
Then there’s Kate. I’ll give it to her that she seems to be handling all of this rather well. I don’t understand however, why she is going on with the show. These poor kids are going to see this $hit some day, not to mention all the tabloid stuff about them as a result of their show and parents’ divorce. Kate claims to be doing all she’s doing FOR the children…in other words, financially…to provide for their futures. Yet, she makes a pile of money as a result of her speaking engagements, book deals, other miscellaneous $hit, and they make ,000 per episode. Come on man, if no t.v. show were in play here, and they had all this money, they’d consider themselves fortunate and lookin’ good…So I’m not sure why she thinks this isn’t enough. I admire her “I can do” mantra, but she might wanna reconsider some of the things she can do.
