they make at least 2 million dollars/year (just from the taping of the show), plus book profits, book signings, and her speaking engagements, which she gets 3K for each. need i mention the free trips, free food, free clothes, free plastic sugery, free tanning, free haircuts for the kids, etc….? what exacty are they “paying for?” and please don’t say college b/c one episode pays for one kid’s college. they have been doing this show for 5 years…do the math! they aren’t a struggling family! they are frauds. there are plenty of other families out there who have 8 children,who don’t make a minimum of 2 million a year. why do they need to make so much money?

I was just wondering! A lot of things r going on between them, and i kind of feel bad for them! Especially for their kids!!!!!!!!!

on tlc they showed the season finale and it didn’t look as if they were getting along too well..idk i’m just wondering.

Yeah Jon is pretty sad these days. However, I think if I was Kate I would keep doing the show for the kids. It’s not that bad, the kids are being “exploited” the way people think they are. They only film just a few days out of the week (probably 1 or 2) and just a few months out of the year. This allows the kids to be provided for in a way that Jon and Kate couldn’t do otherwise. Anyway, who needs Jon in the show anyways, Kate name is the one that rhymes with eight,lol. However, the whole situation is really just sad that Jon left his family to chase after girls.

I mean, There are plenty of people that have reality shows with thousands of kids. What makes them so special. Every time I go into the store, all I see in the magazines is something about Jon having 2 or 3 girlfriends. Who cares. What are your opinions

I dont think they are sad. I think the media and TLC make/edit things to sound more drama filled.
