i was wonder if anyone knows of any movies that show the good sides of being a stay-at-home mom or a homemaker. (can be from the 1940′s to modern day.

any movies with a specific scene or a sitcom show. (maybe like leave it to beaver, i love Lucy, the Simpsons, family guy any show that has a mom that a homemaker)

also, looking for any clips from The Simpsons that show Marge being motherly, i guess that’s the word.

also a clip from Jon and Kate Plus 8 where she talks about being a stay at home mom.

It’s for my Women’s Studies project.

Yes they do, nearly everyone on reality television does, for example on big brother, whether you win or not houseguests get $ 750/week just for being there! Everyone gets paid, plus the piblicity alone gives them tons more opportunities!

I’d really like to hear opinions on shows like 16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom, Etc. Even opinions on TV shows such as Kate Plus 8, and Octomom. In my personal opinion, especially the pregnant teen shows are just about immature girls who throw temper tantrums and blame their parents/boyfriend for every little thing. I also feel bad for the children of the moms, because they’re getting exploited before they can even talk! In Kate Plus 8, I think the same type of thing occurs. Kate and her now ex husband start drama and exploit their children. Granted, sometimes these shows do show the hardships of being a young parent, but mostly they are rewarding teens for making a bad choice.

Ok I found a few for you, not all of them but I hope it helps

**Gossip Girl season premier September 1 on CW channel 3 @ 8 p.m. every Monday night!

**Jon and Kate plus 8 premiers on TLC channel 38 every Monday night @ 9 p.m.

**Talk s** with Sue will be back in the fall according to her website. Her show is on Oxygen channel 68!

**Chelsea Lately premiers every night @ 11:30 p.m. on E channel 70.

**The Hills new season premiers August 18 on MTV @ 10p.m. Mondays!

I could not find Sweet sixteen, Then came six or life with Ryan sorry:(
