Each episode is 30 minutes with the commercials so they’re probably shorter without them.
The numbers still don’t add up though.
Maybe you’re reading the wrong number?
You could also email Kate Gosslin, she answers all of her fan mail and probably would tell you.

They’ll probably divorce when the kids hit 18. Their marriage seems finished. I don’t think they’re going to divorce right now because they need to make money to raise their kids and they already have a lifestyle that they’re accustomed to.
