Question by Melissa K: Your Opinion on Teen Mom shows?
I’d really like to hear opinions on shows like 16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom, Etc. Even opinions on TV shows such as Kate Plus 8, and Octomom. In my personal opinion, especially the pregnant teen shows are just about immature girls who throw temper tantrums and blame their parents/boyfriend for every little thing. I also feel bad for the children of the moms, because they’re getting exploited before they can even talk! In Kate Plus 8, I think the same type of thing occurs. Kate and her now ex husband start drama and exploit their children. Granted, sometimes these shows do show the hardships of being a young parent, but mostly they are rewarding teens for making a bad choice.

Okay is it just me or are all the magazines all about the reality tv stars John and Kate Plus 8! I turn on E! news and there are all these “A closer look a John/Kate” non-stop! And they are all saying the same information. If you missed the latest..Kate spanked her daughter. Seriously? I wanna know what you guys think about it all. Does it make you wanna watch the show more? I think its getting fake like The Hills did. Do you? Are they really forcing the kids to do the show for money? I wanna hear what you think!

I agree with all of you guys! Speidi, don’t get me started! I hate how the apology to Lauren from Spencer was fake! That really got me mad. I mean man up Spencer, he is such a loser an @$ $ but in the finally I liked Speidi more than Holly and her mom. She was acting so weird and gross. I absolutely hated them in that episode along with every other episode Holly was in..erghhh lol

Okay so after thinking about last nights new episode and then looking ahead to next weeks (we have dish) I then noticed that next week there is jon and kate plus 8 for 30min and then there is another episode that is just jon and kate… I am wondering if all of this separation and divorce is just a way for them to make money. Does anyone else think they might be faking it? Seems like they might be getting another show out of it. What are your opinions?

No she has been a beezy to him from day one. If they didnt have kids they would have divorced a long time ago. PLUS did you see how the kids were talking to jon and telling him they wish he were home more. He misses them and i dont think he would do that just for another show. Besides, he made it clear he doesnt want a show anymore or to be famous, but kate is keeping that show going.

It was another Jon and Kate Plus Eight question about the whole affair thing. I just said that I don’t think we should butt into their marriage and call Kate incompetent because of something Jon may or may not have done. The girl apparently was only looking for head-nodding drones who agreed with her opinion, and when I went back to look at other peoples’ answers to the question it said “you may not view this question at this time, i.e. YOU’RE BLOCKED. Not really fair considering she asked for answers and got them.

Like I said…is there no justice?

Sadly enough, there isn’t. I think that what the other person did was unfair and childish and I completely agree with you. Don’t let it ruin your day, though!

I did not see it but I think it is in pretty bad taste to keep using her kids to hold on to the spotlight. Fairly evident since she is a mother of eight yet somehow finds time to flaunt with multiple television shows.

I don’t usually get into the reality shows but I used to enjoy watching the Jon & Kate series. Anyone who has kids can enjoy and sympathize with their situation. I always thought Kate was a decent lady just trying to manage everything.

Wow – has she changed. She seems like a robot now, with her stiff smile and outrageous hair. And not a single family member was at the kids’ 5th birthday party. Kate had absolutely no family or friends of her own there. NONE!!!

I watch it because I am stunned to see that money can do this to someone. How can fame and fortune make someone so cold and callous? I like to think – if I came across just fortune myself – the fun would be in sharing it with all my friends and family.

What is up with her? Mental illness?

ok, i usually don’t believe the tabloids so i have just been listening to the interviews with the actual people. i, at first, felt sympathy for jon because i saw the show and saw how kate treated him but lately i have seen that jon is being really irresponsible and immature. as a father he isn’t being a good one. how could he just slander his estranged wife ( a wife nonetheless) in front of the whole world! she is the mother of his children and when they grow up and see this they will resent him. i saw him say that he couldn’t live with a person he detested. And what is he doing taking $180 K from the account like that. kate was practically crying when they interviewed her about this.
i wish jon would stop his playful act and grow up and see that this will hurt his children. the way he speaks about his divorce sounds so careless and he said he was EXCITED???
he’s off womanizing and kate is at home trying to help her children cope with this tough time. i think the way he handles this situation is childish.
i just feel awful for those kids and i think that man has gone too far.

i would like to hear your opinion on this matter. no rude comments please it’s just a question.
