Question by tim: Is Kate from Jon and Kate Plus 8 doing show for money?
I think its hilarious when she says there is paparazzi following us or something when there is a huge camera crew around her. She is basically asking for it. I think the kids are great but i don’t really think its necessary to have a crew around them all the time. I loved the previous seasons but now it seems like kate is now just flaunting the amount of money she has. Which leads to my question stated above. Thanks

yes they make 55K a show and their show has been on for 3 years and promotions and talk shows. this is their job basically. stay home so crafts with kids argue. go on vacation.

People are quick to judge Kate because she is human. I mean the woman is a mother of eight, of course she has her flaws! People just need to talk trash about someone so they pick Kate. If I had to support eight children, feed them, clothe them, put them all through collage! I would probably do the same thing!

tough economic times (for most of us) why didn’t she just let it grow? Grow your hair long Kate. Long hair is in to stay.
regardless if she paid for them or some sponsor did………toooo much money. and some poor slob over in sweden cut off her beautiful hair so that some american can indulge because she is too lazy to grow her own hair. imho

I am just curious.

I am watching Jon & kate at this very moment , and she seems quite ridiculous ! She seems mean to her kids – like hannah was trying to tell her something and she was like go away then all the kids were [ trying to ]saying something and she was like – i don’t hear anything , do you ? , also i have noticed she has gotten way mean to jon , more than before . And she nags way too much , and i understand she has eight kids – but that does not give her the right to be hateful . yeah grouchy at times from stress , but not like she is .Personally , i believe money has corrupted her , Which is truly a shame .
Money ? Hmm , lets see here – Her new home is worth … $1.3mil ….. No money ? yeah okay . It is not like she doesn’t get tons of stuff donated to her and it is not like she does the show for free !
Some of you have good points . I am not quite sure about her , I want to beileve she is a good person , i really do , but i just do not know

Well it should be the kids money since they are the reasons why Kate and Jon are making so much money. If not for the kids they wouldn’t be making that kind of money. I had just heard on the news that he was blowing the money made off the kids with his lavish spending and gambling. Kate probably is too though. Maybe not at the rate yet that he is.
