Are john and Kate getting a divorce? I have herd that they are, but didn’t know if that was just rumors.

Tabloids are rumors and gossip. The only people who would truly know if they are getting a divorce would be…yup…Jon and Kate

After months of speculation, the 10-year marriage of Jon & Kate Plus Eight’s stars Kate and Jon Gosselin appears to be coming to an end, a source close to the situation tells PEOPLE.

Documents to initiate a legal split were filed at the Bucks County Courthouse in Doylestown, Pa., Monday afternoon.

Fans who have watched the couple’s popular TLC show – or read the voluminous coverage of the Gosselin marriage in the press – will hardly be surprised: The duo had long maintained a tense relationship, with Jon recently telling PEOPLE he wanted a less high-profile life, while Kate appeared to remain committed to their TV career.

i love there show jon and kate plus eight.

I herd that John and Kate from Joh and Kate plus eight are having some problems with there marrage and they might get a divorce. Is that true?

His attitude stinks. His parents want nothing to do w/ him, yet he always wants to be up their @$$.. They never invite him to anything.. They always with the other children. All their kids are grown up. He treats his mom like a queen and he just sh!ts on him and uses him. But me the one who’s always there for him.. well, I’m the one he takes his anger for her out on me. He talks to our kids like they’re dogs… well to make it more clearer.. Like Jon and Kate Gosselin.. He would be the Kate/… Seriously.. he’s a d!ck..
I know I must look like an idiot, but I’m fuming. He pushes my buttons. I don’t think I deserve for him to treat me like crap or our children.
He’s the black sheep..so he tries so hard to fit in.. he looks like a dumbass though.. He has his own family. He’s a grown man.. I think the only ppl he need to impress to make happy is me and our children.. But us he just tosses aside to be with them.

Okay.. when is the episode gonna air if you know so i can watch it and find out?

I saw all these magazines with different articles about it. I never got the chance to read any though. So now I feel in the dark about what supposedly happened between them. Is Kate cheating with her bodyguard? Did Jon cheat with a teacher? And what’s this about Kate not wanting to pick up her bleeding child?
This is one of the few ‘celebrities’ I keep up with, simply because it’s all about a couple trying to raise their kids. (So if you don’t think that anyone should be asking questions about them, keep it to yourself. I want answers about them. Not your opinions on me asking.)

So the big episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 just got finished. Jon and Kate told us that they were getting a divorce, which was pretty obvious. I was seriously balling my eyes out. It’s just sad how fame and paparazzi ruined this innocent family’s life. If the paparazzi would’ve just went away and left them alone, none of this would’ve happened. And I feel very bad for the poor kids. It’s going to be just horrible for them. I’m on Kate’s side when it comes to all of the affairs and all of that. Jon was the one who started with the cheating. What do you guys think of their decision?

Personally i hope they do. I hate the show and hate her. I hate hearing about them and all their fancy vacations and treatments. I’M NOT JEALOUS! I’m just pissed how everyone thinks they’re so frikkin special cuz they have a crapload of kids. DONT PEOPLE F****** KNOW THAT THERES OTHERS WHO HAVE A BUNCH OF KIDS. Look at the duggar family. They’re nice and they’e not rich for being on camera. they freakn built their own house with their own money and they dont charge churches sixteen hundred bucks to just show they’re faces!! And their older kids are f****** BlTCHES!!!! At least if they divorce we wont have to see their a$$ ugly faces and those twins a$$ ugly faces too. I have nothing against the younger kids though

So the kids are finally completely better, and today when the twins were napping I did some reading on the Gosselins, and came across severeal threads talking about the upcoming divorce that Jon and Kate are apparently having.

It’s said that he was seen at a college party with several college girls, flirting and teasing them, drunk out of his mind… saying that it didn’t matter because Kate and himself would be getting a divorce soon. I was completely shocked with my jaw to the ground when I heard this. My kids and I love that show to death, and it would be a shame to see it go… it would be even worse however for those poor kids who just saw mommy and daddy get re-married, and had been promised they’d be a family forever and ever.

Who has heard this or similar? Do you think it’s true.

Thank you for clearing that up for me… by the way, for those who are saying that he should leave her for someone else… are you serious?! You’re really that shallow to encourage a man who loves his wife and 8 kids to find someone else because you think the way she treats him isn’t okay?
I always say, for every family; if it works for them, no one else should care.
