…to Oprah no less. Anyways, I read it is being canceled as of January 1st 2011 due to low viewership. I LOVE that channel. I love learning about new medical conditions and I have learned a lot and really have a lot of good memories watching that channel (dorky, I know). This is the station that launched Kate Plus Eight and 19 Kids and counting after various specials and I watched every episode from the very beginning thanks to Discovery Health. Heck, if it weren’t for Discovery Health maybe those shows would have never materialized. I love Dr. G and am a least a little consoled knowing that TLC is probably going to be picking it up. I hope TLC picks up other programs from DH too. I also started watching Skeleton Stories recently and find it quite fascinating…except for the fact they try to sensationalize it by playing scary music and having a creepy sounding narrator, it is about science and not about ghosts. But I quess when you struggle with low ratings you tend to sensationalize things to gain interest.

I hate it! I know there was lots of talk over her short hair cut, but I think it looked much better short than it does now. She needs to take those extensions out. What do you think about them?

I’ve been reading articles lately about their failing marriage and all the incriminating photos. Everyone’s complaining how much of a bitch she is but if you were in her shoes, would you act like that? Also Jon’s not perfect either, I think he’s cheating on her.
So Jon has officially left her? I do wonder if they quit their show could their marriage recover?

I used to not like Kate but since Jon left she’s been taking care of 8 kids by herself.

Good parent? Really? The kids have been filmed for almost they’re whole life. He decides he wants to stop the show when TLC takes him off? Do I think its in the kids best interest not to be filmed? Absolutely! But I think his timing is rather suspect. I respect your opinion but I think he is transparent a massive hypocrite. He is doing this to spite TLC and Kate.
@ carton size…Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think that the kids should be filmed at all. But Kate isn’t the only guilty party here. The BOTH started the show together. They reached the point of no return. If they show stops, how are they going to support his kids. If he has such a problem with being filmed, why is he making the his rounds all over tv? Larry King, GMA, The Insider, etc. If he wants privacy why is he blasting Kate all over the media and airing all of their dirty laundry. He wants revenge. He is only thinking about himself now and I think its disgusting.

Good parent.

Because now Kate is just in it for the money.
When they started, they had little to none, and needed the cash.

In other words….Kate is exploiting the family’s private life, for a quick buck, and is taking advantage of the fact that the family is broken up, and the show will get higher ratings.

Jon is being the good parent by trying to get the show off the air, because the kids shouldn’t be filmed when they are dealing with their parent’s divorce. That’s something that should be kept private for them.

what is the episode on jon & kate plus 8 that kate yells at the boys for breaking the dresser knob & collin does a crazy dance?

Unlike some players in the Jon & Kate inner circle, Kate GosselinKevin Kreider, and sister-in-law Jodie want the media to pony up for their insider secrets. Yesterday, the Aunt and Uncle of the eight Gosselin spawn were on the Early Show, where they scolded Jon and Kate for continuing the show and for putting money over the well being of their kids.

For that 15 minutes of fame, it is speculated that they were paid $30,000 and they are looking for other media outlets who would do the same.

Wow. We smell a hypocrite or two.

They should really be ashamed of themselves. This is their family they are exploiting. Family doesn’t do that to one another, no matter what the price tag.

Just saw this on yahoo, I never really cared for the show, or the hoop la sence but it like she complains about him cheating but she is never going to be there. These poor kids have one parent gone already and with her traviling everywhere there going to be missing both. I think it is so sad that she brought these 8 kids in the world and there only like what 5 and 9 years old. They need a mom not money, right? Has the world gone mad? I for one will not be watching the new show.

I saw all these magazines with different articles about it. I never got the chance to read any though. So now I feel in the dark about what supposedly happened between them. Is Kate cheating with her bodyguard? Did Jon cheat with a teacher? And what’s this about Kate not wanting to pick up her bleeding child?
This is one of the few ‘celebrities’ I keep up with, simply because it’s all about a couple trying to raise their kids. (So if you don’t think that anyone should be asking questions about them, keep it to yourself. I want answers about them. Not your opinions on me asking.)
