Our long national nightmare is finally over.
Jon & Kate Plus 8, which in recent months had become just about as fun as reliving your parents’ divorce, will stop filming new episodes next month, according to the New York Post.
After Jon Gosselin, 32, forbade TLC from filming his and 34-year-old estranged wife Kate’s eight children for their show, the network will try to squeeze out a couple remaining episodes from existing footage before putting the show to rest, according to sources.

Never watched it to begin with. I did see one episode just to see what it was about; found Kate to be an absolute controlling shrew and Jon to be an absolute spineless milquetoast; the kids were whiny little critters and I decided it was probably not something I needed in my life.
really???!!! Thank goodness those kids will not have to be at the center of the media circus any longer. Jon and Kate should get on with their lives now and let us forget about them.
I think it’s the best decision since the 2 of them probably would not have come to an agreement..I wonder if they’ll individually continue to exploit there children…I also wonder how the kids will adjust to it..especially the sextuplets…the cams been on them since they were babies…that will be a huge adjustment for them…
Thank you TLC for once you made the right decision. Now if only Jon and Kate would stop airing their dirty laundry to every news channel that would be great. Enough with these 2 idiots.
Thank God. I haven’t watched in a while and just tuned in to the “organizing” episode and those kids have turned out to be rude, bratty children! Jon isn’t the best but I’m glad he put a stop to it, whatever his motives may be. Kate wanted to keep goin with and jon just stopped, even though he was aware of the public outburts and furthur drama he continues to put himself in – he did it for the kids

I didn’t watch the show because Kate was too arrogant , and I could care less…they have made so much money and shes on TV complaining she has no money to pay her bills….No money? That should show people her true character!
AND…All this time they TRIED to fool people by pretending they were a couple too….! I can NOT stand either one of them!
It hasn`t been cancelled yet. It will be back even if it is with only Kate.

Thank goodness. I used to watch the show because the kids were cute to see but now that they are divorced it is just a train-wreck with the bickering. The kids were the ones suffering the most in this situation.
