Your forgetting that the Duggers also run a very successful business
The Duggers have been having kids for 20something years. That means that for about 13 of those years/kids, they had built-in help from the older kids. The Gosselins, besides being generally trashy and attention-hungry, have a bunch of kids within about 2 years of age.
There are alot of factors with this. The Gosselin’s have the 2 older twins and then 6 little ones.
The duggers oldest is over 20, all their kids weren’t born at the same time. So they have built in baby sitters.
Kate gave up her nursing job to be a stay at home mom since it would cost more to have them in day care and she work. John works, but I have no idea what he does, and I’m sure he doesn’t make that much.
The duggers, have their own business, plus have a few rental properties that they collect from each month, they have homes they rent, plus business space.
And what do you mean without going to hollywood? They both have their own show don’t they? So they both made it to hollywood. Only big difference is Jim-bob will keep his ‘junk’ in his pants where John could not. To me this is where things started going bad in the public eye for JOhn and Kate.
Also, with the duggers, their church helped them with their new home, building, painting, such as that. With the gosselins, they turned to the media and such for financial help. Which I can’t comment on one way or another. They both do what they have to do for their children.
And before someone says ‘well they have all this bad media on them now’ yea the do. But if John was going to cheat and do his own thing he would have done it WITH OR WITH OUT the media present.
