jon doesn’t take care of the kids, he thinks he’s 22, he’s off having 12 girlfriends while kate is taking care of the kids!!!!
kate deserves to have her own show– Kate Plus 8!!!

I have issue with ladygaga’s answer. Now that Jon’s separated, he feels more freedom & less worry about whether he disagrees with Kate’s opinion. Jon said he asked his kids & they don’t wanna do the show anymore. Jon’s private lifw is HIS business & His ALONE – NOT ours or anyone else, whether they print his business in the magazines or not. But I think Jon’s the more caring, natural parent, that just let’s the kids be kids. Obviously he’s there for the kids’ best interests, and that’s for them to live a NORMAL life, away from the cameras. He’s doing the right thing by putting his foot down a not allowinf TLC to film the kids. Kate needs to stop being so sekfish, in it JUST for the money & who cares how her kids feel! She took the older twins out of school at the end of the year to North Carolina for the show! She spanked 1 of the younger (girl) septulets because she was blowing a whistle when she was on her cell! They were at the pool & she was ignoring her kids!! Kate’s CONSTANTLY ordering staff around, she acts like, oh, this is my 1st time putting a tent together, but then she has TLC’S “staff” put the other tents together. TLC’s trying to make Kate look like the model Mother when sheks not. She’s away for her book tour & speaking engagements & author’s teas A LOT! And she makes enough money doing these things, plus I heard she may have another show in the works for 2010, WHY is she FORCING her kids to do the show, she says it’s income, that’s DUMB because it’s Not like that’s her Only income! She makes enough to live on to raise the 8 kids WITHOUT the show. They need to stop this charade of a show…Kate Plus 8!!!!!
Jon has made a mockery of himself. To see him going out with that “Girls Gone Wild” guy who did time in prison… what is he thinking? Does he think this helps his image? Doing a show with Kevin Federline and Lindsay Lohan’s estranged Father? He kept saying that he knows he made mistakes after he and Kate separated, but I don’t think he has a clue.
He also talked about the babysitter and denied having any type of relationship with her. His eyes were blinking rapidly and he was making quirky faces. Liar, liar pants on fire. Your body language tells another story.
I am on team Kate. She is keeping her mouth shut, and you can tell she is always thinking how to respond as if her kids were hearing her answers. I think that’s very smart.
They really do need to quit the show. Kate seems financially responsible, and hopefully she hasn’t squandered what they’ve earned. If she’s got the kids funds put into place, then go another route with your career.
Jon is hostile that he is out of the show now and he is now using the excuse of wanting what’s best for his kids. He should have thought about that before trapsing all over town with these girls who are looking for noteriety.
I can’t stand Kate…never could. I am glad that Jon is putting the brakes on the TV show. Her comments saying that Jon is only doing that for him is so b*tchy, the only reason she does not want the show to end is because she enjoys the spot light, enjoys the money. She has gotten money hungry and forgot what was really important in life. I am cheering for Jon; I really hope he gets the kids more because in my opinion he is the better parent who has the children welfare in mind.
To be honest, I’ve never watched the show but have seen both of them on the magazine covers and on talk shows.
I think that they HAD to accept their reality show as a means to make money (it’s not easy raising all of those kids w/o money).
However, they should’ve been very protective/careful as to what they would reveal to the public’s viewing. They should’ve kept it as showing how it is to raise so many children and kept their personal problems out of it.
I also lost respect for them both when they started making (paid) appearances on shows and magazines — especially while they are going through a difficult divorce.
So, frankly I think that they both have been exploiting their children as well as themselves — all for the sake of money.
WE the public should just stop watching them and they will go away.
I really don’t like Jon. I suspect Kate’s previously shrewish behavior was a result of her knowledge of how he always felt entitled and didn’t take family life seriously. She came off as harsh as a result. Hope she can recover. Any mother knows, all those kids at the same age requires constant encouragement along with discipline. Not much room for whiny tantrums. Same for the kids.(he he)
I am not on any particular side – I am surprised Jon put up with the CR*P for so long, she treated him like a child. I do not think it is good for the children, cameras in their faces all the time. I DO THINK IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR !!!!!!!!!!
I think they are both very wrong. Now that Jon is no longer there he wants to halt filming while Kate is enjoying the fat bank account. The children’s home life is already dysfunctional with the divorce, filming is just increasing it.

TLC should stop airing the show. No team for me. Jon and Kate are horrible human beings who only care about money, oh and making each other look ridiculous. Yes I believe they are exploiting those poor children.
Im with alot of others, i used to hate Kate but after Jon cheated etc, i had a new appreciation for her and i understand kicking Jon off.
i think jon is cancelling it 4 payback he aint say anything about how bad it is for the kids when it was jon & kate
The two sides of the story have quadrupled.
im team neither. I think they should just end the show and quit putting their eight kids through this mess.
