Question by Naena: How do you feel about “Jon and Kate plus 8″ now being “Kate plus 8″?
Recently, I heard on the news that Jon no longer wanted to be apart of the show, so now it is known as “Kate plus 8″, where the focus is on Kate raising her children (i’m sure Jon still raises them with her off set). How do you feel about that?

I cannot stand her at all. Now she has what she wanted all along. Sole celebrity status. She always pushed him to the background. She’s an ass. Sad thing is, now there will be 8 more spoiled rotten, bratty kids out there. They will grow up like her, wanting celebrity status and everything handed to them – paid for by idiot people who watch her show and keep her in business.
I only watched the show a few time and then not the whole thing. I catch things on here and seeing the mags on the grocery stand while in line. Amazing what our society finds entertaining now.
i think the show should be called jon & kate plus 8 minus jon – kate – 8… in other words cancel the entire thing. no one cares that he has super sperm.
I think the whole thing was stupid. I don’t care for/about Jon or Kate, and I am afraid of what the stardom is going to do to the children. Jon and Kate both exploited their children and will have nothing but money and bloated egos.
I think the new show should be called ‘Hate plus 8′
I think Jon should start his own show and call it: “Jon plus none”.
I’ve never watched the show, but I hear about it on the effin news and it disgusts me.
I feel like puking.
Dumb. She needs to just give it up. It’s not fair to her kids and once their old enough to look back and see what their parents did to them they will resent them forever. Messed up family. Immature parents who are use their kids to make money. Their children earn them their money. It’s sick.
Makes TLC look really bad and exposes the network for what they truly are (looks at it like a cash cow, all the frenzy and media they are LOVING it). It really makes me question her motives. With her new found status there are alot of other things Kate can do to provide the same amounts of money for her family and not be in the limelight. I think if they change it to Kate Plus 8 the show will more than likely “Jump the shark” ratings are gonna dip. There won’t really be anymore drama for people to watch (by then court cases, proceedings, etc will be coming to a close if not done). Once the ratings dip TLC will pull the plug.
The kids are mellowed out now and are growing up, the cute factor is beginning to wear off/ down and its not as interesting to watch as it used to be….People mostly watch for Jon and Kate’s drama and to see any visible affects on the kids. The show has kinda lost that “IT” factor that made it a success. I think that when it is all over alot of truth is gonna come out of this whole thing. It has already started w/ Jon’s latest interview on CNN w/ Larry King…alot of past rumors are coming out as truth (ie: child labor law issues & isolation from family members) with all of the above mentioned it’s as the saying goes “the beginning of the end”
I Love the show and am a Big Fan have watched since the Very First One Hour Special. But now I only watch the new episodes if I can find them On Demand.
I wouldn’t minded I think Kate does a hella of a job raising them. Lets get it striaght people yes they are getting divorces but it doesn’t mean the show has to end remember Kate raise those 8 kids better than Jon. Sure Kate is a bitch but who wouldn’t be if you have 8 kids you would do the same. I think they pulled out jon because all he wanted was more money and fame i mean who would take there wifes money and him and leave the wife with nothing when she has the kids. i mean come on thats pretty much says alot on his side an arrogent fool who only thinks about himself.
Kate is a great very organized mother. I don’t think any one of you who put her down have kids or if you do, you certainly don’t have eight, so you don’t know how it is. I can’t even imagine what it is like to raise eight kids the same age, and keep a clean home like she does, not to mention cooking, laundry, do homework with kids and so on.
She can’t go out and get a job and leave eight kids for someone to babysit, that’s why I support the Kate plus 8.
