   if you watched the shows you would know they’re not on public assistance. I have lived on public assistance myself and with families that side they would be starving and homeless on the amount of money the gov’t provides. but their children are well nourished with nice clothes and homes, public assistance could never provide that much

   Neither of those families get government aid.
   The Duggers have a few very successful businesses and pay for everything with cash.
   And John and Kate do get payed pretty well for the TV show and John works in IT which can be a fairly well paying job.

   i think yes the government provides money for them….but for the jon and kate plus 8 show..i think they are paid by TLC to film their public lives…
   and having a lot of kids is very hard, that’s why the government helps..

   don’t you think they get some kind of financial incentive from the network since they are a huge ratings draw.
   Btw I don’t know about the duggars but in jon and kate, Jon makes over $100,000 from his IT Job.

   Jon no longer works his IT job for the government.
   They beg people for “love offerings” when they speak at churches, when in reality, they get paid exorbitant amounts of money from TLC for their show and do not qualify for government assistance anymore because of it.

   Ironically, when the sextuplets were born, Kate expected the state of PA to pay for her children as “society’s responsibility.” This idiot knew she was having six kids, yet didn’t make the financial preparations necessary to take care of them. Great parenting. Neither she nor Jon had a job throughout the pregnancy. It’s a facade. They have cut out friends, family, and anyone close to them for the sake of the almighty dollar.. at the cost of those children.

   They Get about 250,000 Per Show they make. The higher the want the higher they get paid by TLC. They also get tax reductions.
