does anyone watch jon and kate plus 8?

im just curious, my wife is so into the show that when its on, if the phone rings she NEVER answers it and its like the world is put on pause.. is it a lady thing or something lol! i mean i think the show is ok.. but i dont see why so much women love the show..

and just a question is that jon guy half asian or somethin?… my wife told me he was half, but his kids look sooo asian though!

I never miss an episode ever. If she is anything like me she started watching it from the beggining. And it’s just neat watching them grow up each season.. The kids are so cute believe me it is easy to become an addict. Watch a few with her and you will see why we love it som much. I’m pretty sure jon is 100 percent asian.. I can’t really remember but they did talk about it an a earlier episode something about his mom being korean.. and his dad being something I really can’t remember..

lol, i love the show. i think it’s just one of those shows that gives you insight into what it would be like to have so many children. you get to see them grow and there’s just something special about it. i thinki i remember them saying that he’s like have dutch and half korean or something
I think the show is okay. Jon looks like he is one step away from running away for good.
Jons mom is Korean and his dad is French/Welsh
its just interesting to see how two people could put up with eight kids PS hes half Korean half French and welsh
I watch if i happen by it…i find it somewhat amusing!! I’d lose my head w all those kids!! I think Kate is pretty funny and jon seems kinda lost! Tho I prob would too!
I like the show. We have toddler twin girls along with two older children, and watching that show makes us realize it could be worse. lol
I cannot watch this because Kate drives me nuts!! I think she treats Jon like crap. I must be in the minority because I HATE this show. Sorry!
I love that show and I’m 21. I got my mom into the show. Anyway in one episode they said Jon was half Korean and half Welsh and something else. I think his mom is 100% korean and his dad was welsh/something else. Asian traits I believe are dominant traits in genetics and that’s why the kids look very Asian.

My kids love the show so we watch it all the time. At first I really liked it because it made me realize that if Kate can do things with sextuplets then I can do it with twins.
However….
I think the past few shows have really been getting on my nerves. Like the one with the picnic. The kids are almost 4 and Kate’s putting bibs on them still? And then she gets mad when they roll in the grass? You’re taking them to a playground and for ice cream for heaven’s sake, what do you think they’re going to do.
I think a lot of the past few episodes have been trying to show us what good parents they are. I get that, I think they’re doing a good job. You don’t have to keep telling me how good you are.
