   He has never said, jons mom has never been mentioned, his gmom was on the show before. It is rumored that kates parents are not involved in their lives because of moral reasons regarding the fertilization treatments kate used to get pregnant. Kates father is a minister so its likely he didnt agree with their decision. That is all ive ever read on the topic because i have looked to find that out myself

   I don’t know about Jon but Kate has a brother. When they take the kids to Aunt Jodie’s house that’s her brother’s wife. Jon’s mom was in an episode but we do know that his father passed away.

   Kate has a bro. he was on the show when they were working in the garage putting up the shelves.

   dont know why their parents arent involved. i have a feeling maybe they didnt agree with jon and kate going through with having so many kids. oh well, their loss as “grandparents”.

   Jon has a brother, Jon stated that he and his brother started the Jon Gosselin Children’s Foundation. I have never seen his brother. The paps don’t hound him.

   I remember Kate saying in the episode where they are having the birthday party that neither her or Jon’s parents are involved.

   Jon’s dad passed away, but they did show a photo of him holding the twins and mentioned that he (being a dentist) took care of the kids teeth. In the birthday episode they mentioned their parents (Jon’s Mom and Kate’s parents) and they said that they weren’t involved with their everyday life, but they didn’t go into details.
   And yes Jon’s grandmother was on the show before, the birthday episode.
