Do you think Kate, from John and Kate plus 8 is wrong to make John do another season?

John doesn’t quite like his life now that he is so famous, he wishes to live a more normal life and not to be followed and photographed all the time when he is out in public (I’m assuming away from the cameras, shooting John and Kate plus 8). Do you think Kate is forcing him to do another season? No offense to either of them, I love the show but she definately wants things done her way or the highway and I wonder if she is making him continue the show.

i think kate is right to continue the show, they have EIGHT kids, they need that money to put them through school.

Yes it is wrong for her to make him do it if he does not want to. the father is supposed to be the leader of the family, so why is she “making” him do anything, thats messed up anyway.
I find it wrong. But then again, I’ve always found her to be faaaarrrr too controlling! He does his best to help her out and she never seems happy enough.
First of all I’m a huge Jon and Kate plus 8 fan so my answer may be a little biased, but I really don’t think she is forcing him to do it at all, the only reason he is hating being a star now is because of the picture of him “cheating on Kate” which I doubt he did at all, since the picture is him posing with two fans, the press blew it out of proportion and he didn’t like it. and I doubt Kate is forcing him anyways, if he really wanted to stop im sure that she would, i mean she is kind of bossy and short tempered sometimes but she has 8 kids..I think she has the right to be but she loves jon and im sure she would respect his wishes

I think Kate is definitely “coercing” him to do the show – but force might be a strong word. She is probably reminding him of the benefits of doing the show – easier to afford 8 kids, their nice home, being able to keep her a stay-at-home mom and him work from home, etc.
I wonder if this will be the last season though, because don’t the little ones start school next year – or do they have one more year at home with Kate?
I love this show but I really think they need to stop whit the show for the health of their marriage and the kids.Jon says that he dindnt want to keep going whit the show And I completly understand him..it must be so hard..and they are having problems in their relationship about the show..I think Kate is just wrong forcing him to do it..that would be so bad Jon is not happy!!
and also are Mady and Cara they are almost never in the show..because they dont want their lives to be public
From what I have seen Kate wears the pants in that family. She can’t see the forest for the trees. She is greedy and she is in it for the money. I have no respect for anyone that pimps their kids out, to make a buck. I hope Jon dumps her and finds a real woman, that is his equal and one that is not always belittling him. He needs to run for the hills if he ever hopes to have any kind of a normal life.
I don’t think she’s making him do the show, they wpuldn’t get to go on all those trips or live in that expensive house if they didn’t do the show. Even if they didn’t do the show, at this point, they’d still be followed by papparizi because they’re now famous from doing the show, and people would want to see the kids, too.
i wish she does since she kind of always gets her way? i mean she kind of forces him to do everything for her and stuff i just thought it was kind of stupid if they left off with only 4 seasons, if only they knew how many people all over liked their show…they should do it plus they make money out of it, of course we want to see their kids grow up, i love them so much they are so cute, one of the twin girls can be so rude sometimes though…kids have that stage though huh? i hope he comes to a smart choice and says yes!
I agree with Kara, I don’t think that Kate is wrong by wanting to continue the show and I too don’t think that Kate is forcing him to continue with the show. And I can see how Jon can be upset with the way that the press blew his picture with the fans out of proportion because if I were Jon then I would be upset too.
So no, I don’t think that them doing a season 5 is a bad thing, I think that it is a good thing because they need the money, but just not the fame so much.
edit to Invisible- Kate is a stay at home Mom to be with the kids, and even if the little ones started school, they could still continue to do the show because Cara and Mady are in school and they still do the show remember??
I’m confused by the current dates on these posts. Do these posters not know they are divorced?
