  1. Well I suppose we won’t really know until the whole drama plays out… I hope they don’t but it’s looking like they do. It’s so sad I think. :o (
I love to watch Jon & Kate Plus 8!
At first I was hoping everything the media was saying was a lie, but it’s sure looking like it isn’t. I hope they plan to work on their marriage, even if it means taking the cameras out of the house. That will suck because I would watch that show as long as it goes, but family SHOULD come first. It’s no secret that it seems lately the show is more about free trips and things that the family has gotten just for being famous… it does kind of lose the original luster it had when I first started watching. I never did really think that Kate was super mean to Jon, it seemed to me they were a normal married couple stressed by having 8 kids and not enough money. If they never would have had this show I’m sure they would have been fine. I do sometimes wonder what the deal is that we never really see any extended family…. it always kind of made me wonder if there was something odd going on.
Here is an article I read about the open marriage thing from Perez Hilton who also mentioned how the Aunt Jodi and husband have confirmed that Jon and Kate have an open marriage. If those two are saying it, it kind of makes me think it must be true.
In a recent interview with brother and sister-in-law Kevin and Jodi Kreider, the spurned relatives reveal that Kate Gosselin gave husband Jon a contract permitting him to openly date with the condition that he showed up for filming of Jon & Kate Plus Eight.
Supposedly, Kate has terminated the marriage and presented Jon with a contract that explicitly lays out the details of their “relationship.”
    She’s a businesswoman, y’all!
We feel sorry for the kids, though. They must be so confused!
“Jon can have girlfriends, do his own thing and has the freedom to do what he wants [on] certain days — so long as he fulfills his professional obligations in regards to the show,” said Kevin.
Jodi continued, “They both ignored their marital problems to keep the show’s ratings high, and that it takes many people to pull off the ruse of showcasing their dysfunctional marriage as a happy one for the cameras. This is a train wreck.”
We would love to see the unedited drama!
Never believe anything you see on TV!

And I just read another article where someone says that all the stuff that has been reported about the split and that Jon lives elsewhere and the open marriage contract is true. They are speculating that throughout this new season 5 they might every once in a while kind of give nod to these issues but mostly the season will be riddled with more trips and screaming kids and that we won’t get to see the whole truth until the last episode of the season… makes sense to keep people watching. Maybe tomorrow night they will touch on it *because they were called in for re-shoots due to the new media*… hmmm, we’ll see.

  2. Don’t keep up with entertainment people; but, their program will be pulled. Sponsors were paying for wholesome family entertainment. The recent publicity kills the “big happy family” concept show. Nobody will care what the couple does after their program is off the air. They just threw away a major windfall of money.

  3. I love Kahlan, our chow puppy!

    open marriage, they are divorced
