I think she is exploiting her kids for profit but she is such a train wreck that I cant stop watching!

im excited to c her kids grow up and stuff but i think she is doing it for the wrong reasons.
What I’ve often wondered is what is the appeal of the show.
A family of 8 children is certainly not a new concept. My father was one of 11 children. My mother-in-law came from a family of 10.
What makes “Kate Plus Eight” so special?
I’ve never seen one episode. But she just seems so wretched I don’t know if I could handle watching it. And also knowing she just does this for the money kilz me.

I guess when I have 8 children to support with no help from the father, I’ll be able to point fingers at Kate and run her down. Till then, she does what she has to do to survive. Most women who have 8 children and no dad in sight live in poverty. At least these children have a chance in life.

I love Jon and Kate Plus Eight. I think that that Kate Plus Eight is going to be better because Jon won’t be on it. Kate is not exploiting her children. But the show is her primary source of income, other then her books. I can’t wait to watch it tonight at 8:00 on TLC!
I think she found a way to make a lot of money to support her kids and to be with them. most of the time. good for her!
I wish I could find a way to make money by taking my children on vacation and throwing birthday parties. I’m a little jealous. I work between 40 and 50 hours a week to support my daughter, I don’t think kate works that long every week and most of her work is spent with the kids. imagine how many hours she would have to put in as a nurse to support them, it seems she doesn’t have a choice!
