Are Jon Gosselin’s Eyes Really That Blue Color? If So Then Why Are All Of Their Kid’s Eyes Brown?
9 February 2010
on that Jon and Kate show, if both of the parents really “have blue colored eyes” then it seems like at least one of the kids would also have blue colored eyes. And yet they have 8 kids and all of them seem to have brown eyes. In addition, it looks like Jon is asian, and I have never seen an asian person that did not have brown or black eyes…and I don’t know about you, but to me it sort of looks like he just has contact lenses. So does anyone know if his eyes are really blue like that, or is it just contact lenses? And if his eyes are really blue like that then why do all of the kids have brown eyes (if both of the parents “really” have blue eyes)?

I was just wondering the same thing watching the show!! It could be that each of them have some alleles for brown eyes so each child got brown eyes (dominant). For example, someone with 4 blue eye alleles and 2 brown eye alleles would end up with greenish eyes. 2 people with greenish eyes reproducing means a high chance of brown eyes, since brown is dominant. But still it is amazing that the kids are only 1/4 Korean, yet the Asian ancestry dominates their faces.
I really like Jon Gosselin..he is amazingly patient and has a cool sense of humor!!
